To be held in Winnipeg, this year's Convention promises to be an exciting showcase of triumphs and milestones for the industry - with the passing of legislation allowing whole plant use, national variety trials underway and the setting up of the Promotion & Research Agency - all through the tireless and continuous efforts of
the Board and Management of the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance.
For Leisure, remember to visit The Manitoba Legislative Building, with the 'Golden Boy' perched on top. Considered to be Canada's finest provincial legislative building, it is a treasure trove of masonic symbols, hieroglyphics and numeric codes which you can discover more of in the Hermetic Code Tour of the building.
Within walking distance is the Forks National Historic site, the major meeting place for Aboriginal peoples for over 6,000 years. Today, it is a nine-acre hub of shopping, dining and entertainment throughout the year, including winter activities like outdoor skating on trails with warming huts along the way; and crokicurl, the all-Manitoban game that combines curling and crokinole.
